In 2018 I was asked to join a small group of makers and thinkers to help produce a section of this festival called The Compass. In 2019 I came back for a second round.
The Compass’ focus is on health: spiritual, mental and emotional health. With healers from across the board the compass is know as a place to recharge, learn, and ground out during this intense five day festival.
Our team was small but capable, and with the help of some ambitions volunteers our vision was created.
My role in this project was as problem solver, wether that meant figuring out how to install swings, creating seating for large ceremonies, helping build stages or protecting equipment from flash floods I was always available and excited to lend a hand.
The work I did for the Do Lab was awe inspiring.. Arriving to the site with nothing more than shipping containers and some site flags, over 10 exhausting days I watched, and helped, an incredible force of hard working, driven and rather unassuming people build a small city that would host tens of thousands of people.
