The Drape series uses bent plywood as a structural element while its basic function as seat, back and table top is clear.
With its primary surface being thick glass this table puts on display whatever is placed on the slatted sub surface below.
I thought it would be fun to design a table around a plant. So I did.
This design is named after my late grand father, he smoked heavily, was well read, and loved Bonsai— and in my mind may have been a little western. This unique design is in the shape of a six shooter, has a central compartment for some reference material and a large surface to keep spotless aside from an ashtray and maybe a lamp. RIP Grampa Bob.
Bold, balanced and clean— I only call it a “plan” table because I like plants.
The framework which holds the glass in place references two circling shark fins protruding from calm waters.
Made completely out of one 6/4 piece of Ash, measuring 9’ x 6”, this slat chair is intended for mass production and affordable pricing. The prototype versions I’ve made in the past prove to be deceivingly durable while incredibly light.
Inspired by the classic parrot-perched-in-a-ring image I channeled my inner 70’s Miami to design this double sided bench/ daybed.
Just a simple, low profile, bed.
In the process of making the Trad Bed for Young American I had several variations that were too traditional for the client.
Designed for those who love color coordinating their closet.
